Subject to a motion duly made in open session and a roll call vote pursuant to Section 610.022 the Board of Aldermen may also hold a closed meeting, with a closed vote and record for one or more of the reasons as authorized by Section 610.021(1), (2) and (3) Revised Statutes of Missouri, relating to legal issues, real estate and/or personnel, negotiation of a contract pursuant to Section 610.021(12) RSMO., proprietary information pursuant to Section 610.021(15), and/or information related to public safety and security measures pursuant to Section 610.021(18) and (19) RSMO.

3. Ordinance – To approve a modification of Appendix M of the 2015 International Fire Code. (Bill No. 6619) – 2nd Reading  To approve a modification as it relates to the automatic sprinkler retrofit requirements.

4. Ordinance – To approve the installation of a new fire hydrant at 25 N. Central Avenue (Opus Development Project). (Bill No. 6620)  To consider approving a new fire hydrant to be installed as required for the building being constructed at 25 North Central Avenue at Maryland Avenue. 5. Ordinance – To approve a condominium plat for 731 Westwood Drive. (Bill No. 6621)  To consider approving a request from Period Properties, LLC, owner for the approval of a condominium plat to be known as 731 Westwood Condominiums.

6. Ordinance – To approve a Streetscape Use and Maintenance Agreement for the Centene Development Project. (Bill No. 6622)  To consider approving an agreement related to the Centene Development Project for improvements under the requirements of the Downtown Clayton Streetscape Standards.

7. Ordinance – To approve a contract for the Maryland Design Project. (Bill No. 6623)  To consider approving a contract with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the Maryland Avenue Resurfacing Project.

8. Ordinance – To approve a contract for Shaw Park Fields 5 and 6. (Bill No. 6624)  To consider approving a contract with Munie Greencare Professionals for the Shaw Park Fields 5 & 6 Project

Motion – To set August 22, 2017 as the date for a public hearing to provide public comment on the proposed FY 2018 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget and the proposed Property Tax Levies for tax year 2017.  Pursuant to the City Charter, the Board of Aldermen is required to determine the time and place for a public hearing on the proposed FY 2018 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget and the proposed property tax levies for tax year 2017 (FY2018).
