Board of Aldermen Budget Work Session In-Person and Virtual (Zoom) Meeting September 19, 2025 Clayton City Hall Council Chambers – 2nd Fl. 10 N. Bemiston Avenue

The meeting was open to individuals to attend in-person and/or virtually via Zoom.

Board of Aldermen: Mayor McAndrew, Susan Buse, Gary Feder, Jeffery Yorg (virtual), and Kami Waldman.

Absent: Becky Patel and Rick Hummell

Staff:

City Manager Gipson, City Attorney O’Keefe, and City Clerk June Frazier

DISCUSSION ON TOBACCO AND VAPING REGULATIONS

City Manager Gipson provided the Board with a PowerPoint© presentation on the proposed tobacco and vaping regulations. (copy available upon request in the City Clerk’s office).

Rich Rogers, 931 S. Bemiston Avenue, addressed the Board to thank them for considering the proposed changes. Noted that he walks by the retailer several times a week and always notices that there are never any customers inside suggesting that they should be investigated for other purposes.

Michael Golembieski, 8045 Crescent Drive, addressed the Board agreeing with Mr. Rogers that he too has noticed that there are no customers.

No action (vote) was taken.

DISCUSSION ON BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING PROCEDURES

City Manager Gipson provided the Board with a PowerPoint© presentation on the proposed Board of Aldermen meeting procedures – addressing the Board of Aldermen.

No action (vote) was taken.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
