Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. 1.1 1.2 Statement of Adequate Notice, Pledge of Allegiance Adequate Notice was provided. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Adoption of Agenda Approve the agenda as posted. Recognizing Our Own 2.1 Debbie Garbow - Special School District Motion Carries 7-0 The Board of Education recognized Debbie Garbow, a SSD Paraprofessional, who went above and beyond for a family from Jerusalem who recently transitioned to the School District of Clayton. Debbie proactively engaged with this family, even visiting with them during her trip to Jerusalem over Winter Break, prior to them moving to the states. Debbie's outreach has had a tremendous positive effect on this family. 3. Public Comment 3.1 Public Participation at Board Meetings No public comments were submitted. Page 2 of 2 4. Superintendent Communication 4.1 4.2 Superintendent Communication Dr. Nisha Patel provided an update to the Board of Education and the community. Superintendent Update 3-4-25.pdf School Board Recognition - Month of March Dr. Nisha Patel, on behalf of the students and staff, thanked the Board members for their service to the School District of Clayton. 5. Student Representative Update 5.1 Student Representative Update Student Representative Lucia Lerena provided an update to the Board members and the community. 6. Presentations 6.1 Annual Assessment Report Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, Dr. Milena Garganigo, and Director of Assessment and Professional Learning, Ms. Robyn Haug, presented the annual assessment report to the Board of Education. Principal's from each school shared information regarding their respective schools. 7. Financials 7.1 Teacher Salary Schedules for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 The Board of Education approved the teacher salary schedules as submitted. Approve the teacher salary schedules for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 as presented. Consent Agenda Our adopted rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Robert's Rules, provide for a consent agenda listing several items for approval of the Board by a single motion. Most of the items listed under the consent agenda have gone through Board subcommittee review and recommendation. Documentation concerning these items has been provided to all Board members and the public in advance to assure an extensive and thorough review. Items may be removed from the consent agenda at the request of any board member. 8.1 Requesting Board approval on consent agenda items as listed.
