Tax Rate Hearing Public Notice 1.1 Tax Rate Hearing Public Notice SCHOOL DISTRICT OF CLAYTON PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE September 23, 2026 The School District of Clayton will hold a tax rate hearing September 23, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Boardroom located at #2 Mark Twain Circle, Clayton, MO 63105. The purpose of the hearing will be to present data necessary to set the 2026 tax rate relating to the District’s 2026-2027 fiscal year. The data to be presented includes: 2026 PROPERTY TAX RATES The tax rate(s) shall be set to produce the revenues which the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 shows to be required from property tax collections. Each tax rate is determined by dividing the amount of revenue required by the current assessed valuation. The result is multiplied by 100 so the tax rate will be expressed as a rate per $100 of assessed valuation.
