​School District of Clayton​ ​For Approval |​​Action​​Required​ ​Board of Education​ ​Executive Summary​ ​2026-2027 Summer Academy Pay Rates​ ​Date January 21, 2026​ ​Summary​ ​The Board of Education of the School District of Clayton is being asked to​ ​review and approve the 2026 Summer Academy pay rates.​ ​Description of Agenda Item​ ​The attached payment structure addresses the following goals:​ ​●​ ​Continues to provide for market-competitive compensation.​ ​●​ ​Creates sustainability over time to provide fiscal health for the District.​ ​●​ ​Presents a schedule that recognizes and supports our employees given​ ​the high expectations for student outcomes.​ ​●​ ​Provides a streamlined payment structure.​ ​Background Information​ ​Summer Academy has been reimagined through the collaboration of a​ ​diverse group of stakeholders. Under the new structure, students in grades​ ​K–8 will attend in person. For grades 9–12, credit recovery will be offered in​ ​person as needed, while students seeking to advance credits will participate​ ​in online coursework. The leadership structure includes a K–12 Director and​ ​a K–12 Coordinator.
