The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. and was held via the virtual platform Zoom due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
2. Recognizing Our Own
Information: 2.01 Introducing Our Next Superintendent - Dr. Nisha Patel
Board President, Joe Miller, introduced Dr. Nisha Patel as our incoming superintendent to start on July 1, 2021 replacing Dr. Doherty.
Dr. Patel gave a brief introduction of herself to the community.
3. Superintendent Communications

Dr. Sean Doherty, superintendent, presented an update to the community.
4. Student Representative to the Board
Information: 4.01 Student Representative to the Board of Education - Update
Kaitlyn Tran, student representative to the board, presented an update to the community regarding current issues at Clayton High
School.
5. Information
Information: 5.01 Equity Update
Cameron Poole, director of equity and inclusion, led the equity update speaking about the progress the district has made since our last
update in December, and what we are looking to accomplish in the upcoming months. Each department presented updates on the
equity progress from their content areas.
