Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Gary Pierson was absent due to a work commitment. The absence was excused.
Ms. Chris Win was absent due to a personal commitment. The absence was excused.
Action: 1.02 Adoption of Agenda
Adopt the agenda as posted.
Motion by Stacy Siwak, second by Amy Rubin.

Superintendent, Dr. Nisha Patel, provided an update to the Board members and the community.
Information: 3.02 School Board Recognition - Month of March
Dr. Nisha Patel, on behalf of the students and staff, thanked the Board members for their service to the School District of Clayton
Board of Education.

Information: 4.01 Student Representative to the Board of Education - Update
Student Representative, Mohini Mahajan, provided an update to the Board members and the community.

5. Presentations
Information: 5.01 Annual Assessment Report
Dr. Milena Garganigo presented the Annual Assessment report to the Board members. Each principal shared information regarding
their respective schools.
Information: 5.02 Counseling Curriculum
Dr. Milena Garganigo, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, and Jason Thompson, Counseling Curriculum Coordinator,
provided an update on the work of the counseling curriculum committee has done since the last update. The team will also present
the recommended goals for the department.
Information: 5.03 School District of Clayton Social Work Department Self Study & Goals
Dr. Robyn Wiens, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and the district’s elementary and secondary counselors, Katie Burkard
and Lauren Stoelting, provided information regarding key findings from the self-study and goals for the next program cycle.

Jason Growe: Mr. Growe spoke about the Clayton Education Foundation meeting and the upcoming Gala.
