1. Call to Order
Information, Procedural: 1.01 Statement of Adequate Notice 
The meeting of the Board of Education was called to order at 7:02 p.m. and was held virtually on Zoom due to the coronavirus 
pandemic (Omicron). 
2. Recognizing Our Own
Information: 2.01 Jacob Lang
Tonight we recognized Meramec Elementary student, Jacob Lang, who alerted staff members when he smelled smoke in the bathroom,
which resulted in the school evacuating safely while the cause was being investigated. Dr. Patrick Fisher, Principal at Meramec
Elementary School, and Chief Ernie Rhodes from the Clayton Fire Department were present virtually and also spoke about Jacob.
3. Superintendent Communications
Information: 3.01 Superintendent Communications
Superintendent, Dr. Nisha Patel, shared information on the start of the 2nd semester, COVID surge challenges and adjustments, the
booster clinic, Goal 3 -In Head and Heart Engagement Forum feedback, and our professional learning day held last week for staff.
4. Student Representative to the Board of Education
Information: 4.01 Student Representative to the Board of Education - Update
Aitana Rosas-Linhard, the Board of Education Student Representative, updated the board on information happening in schools with
awards, activities, testing, and District Advisory updates.
5. Information
Information: 5.01 Calendar Updates
Dr. Tony Arnold, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, and Mr. Chris Tennill, Chief Communications Officer, shared the
calendar updates from the calendar committee for discussion with the board.
