Other
Alderman Lintz reported that the Sustainability Committee met last week. Their next scheduled meeting is in February which will also be the joint meeting with the Board of Aldermen. They had good conversation as to what to do as a Committee and are eager to “get things done” (i.e. reducing the carbon footprint of Clayton; one suggestion was to have a shuttle service in Clayton).
Mayor Sanger reported that the Clayton Clergy met last week, six members attended. St. Mark’s Church has changed leadership and is now represented by a couple, John and Elizabeth Backus, who has moved here from Omaha. Kol Rinah is still anticipating their move from U-City to Clayton.
Alderman Berkowitz stated that last week’s joint meeting with the Clayton Century Foundation went very well.
Alderman Berkowitz moved that the Board adjourn to a closed meeting, with a closed vote and record, as authorized by Section 610.021(1), (2) and (3) Revised Statutes of Missouri, relating to legal issues, real estate and/or personnel, and to discuss matters related to negotiation of a contract pursuant to Section 610.021(12), RSMo. and/or proprietary information pursuant to Sec. 610.021(15), and/or information related to public safety and security measures pursuant to Section 610.021(18) and (19) RSMO. Alderman Lintz seconded the motion.
