REPORT FROM THE CITY MANAGER

1. Resolution – To approve a plan for repairs to Shaw Park Ice Rink. (Res. No. 15-11)  To consider authorizing the expenditure of capital funds to make repairs to Shaw Park Ice Rink this year and to direct staff to begin preparations for reconstruction of the Rink in 2018.

2. Motion – To set August 25, 2015 as the date for a public hearing to provide public comment on the proposed FY 2016 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget and the proposed Property Tax Levies for tax year 2015.  Pursuant to the City Charter, the Board of Aldermen is required to determine the time and place for a public hearing on the proposed FY 2016 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget and the proposed property tax levies for tax year 2015 (FY2016). Staff is recommending that a public hearing be scheduled for August 25, 2015, immediately followed by a first reading of the required ordinance.

PUBLIC HEARING

1. Resolution – To approve a Conditional Use Permit to allow a 460 square foot second unit on the 2nd floor of existing detached garage - 10 E. Brentmoor Park. (Res. No. 15-09)  Consideration of a request from David and Erin Karandish, owners, to allow the second floor of a detached garage that is currently under construction to function as a second unit.

2. Resolution – To approve a Conditional Use Permit for Parigi restaurant located at 8025 Bonhomme Avenue (Clayton on the Park). (Res. No. 15-10)  Consideration to allow a 4,643 square foot full-service Italian restaurant to be known as Parigi on the second floor of the COTP building.

3. CANCELED - This item has been removed from BOA discussion Ordinance – To Approve An Amendment To Chapter 210, Article II, Section 210.260 General Animal, Livestock, Birds and Domestic Fowl Regulations.
