The applicant is seeking a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a restaurant on the subject property located on the south side of Forsyth Boulevard between South Central Avenue and Bemiston Avenue. The property is a zoning designation of high-density commercial and is located in the northeast downtown overlay district. The site is currently developed with a two-story commercial building and was previously home to Mayana Mexican Kitchen. The applicant is seeking to operate Barcelona, a tapas bar and restaurant. Proposed hours of operation are 11am to 1am Monday through Saturday and 11am to 12am on Sunday.
