The topic today is not a public hearing, we welcome all to listen, but we will not be offering public comment opportunities. There will be opportunities for public comment during the public hearing at the Board of Aldermen meeting scheduled Tuesday, November 12 and also an opportunity for comment on Tuesday, November 26th. Today the Board is discussing and asking question on various aspects of the proposed Washington University Overlay, focusing primarily on the Big Bend Boulevard area. Representatives, Mary Campbell and JoAnna Schooler of Washington University, and Tom Kirk of Bohlin Cywinsky Jackson, Inc. Architects, were in attendance to answer take questions from the Board. No action (vote) was taken. Motion made by Alderman McAndrew to adjourn the meeting. Alderman Buse seconded. The motion passed unanimously on a voice vote. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 5:17 p.m.

DISCUSSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING AND TEXT AMENDMENT FOR REVISIONS TO THE CITY’S ZONING MAP AND LAND USE CODE, CHAPTER 410 (OVERLAY AND URBAN DESIGN ZONING DISTRICTS) AS RELATED TO 801 SEMINARY PLACE
Anna Krane, Director of Planning provided the Board with a presentation on the proposed rezoning and text amendment as related to property located at 801 Seminary Place. (copy of the presentation was included in the packet and is available upon request in the City Clerk’s office). Mayor Harris welcomed everyone and explained the process for the regularly scheduled, third Friday of each month sessions. The Friday work sessions are an opportunity for the Board to connect and discuss various issues, to ask questions of staff, at which, customarily no action is taken by the Board.
