Subject to a motion duly made in open session and a roll call vote pursuant to Section 610.022 the Board of Aldermen may also hold a closed meeting, with a closed vote and record for one or more of the reasons as authorized by Section 610.021(1), (2) and (3) Revised Statutes of Missouri, relating to legal issues, real estate and/or personnel, negotiation of a contract pursuant to Section 610.021(12) RSMO., proprietary information pursuant to Section 610.021(15), and/or information related to public safety and security measures pursuant to Section 610.021(18) and (19) RSMO.

Resolution – To approve a Conditional Use Permit for Clayton DeMun, LLC for property located at 6411 Clayton Road. (Res. No. 17-25)  A public hearing to consider an application for a Conditional Use Permit submitted by Clayton DeMun, LLC, to allow the conversion of the existing building located at 6411 Clayton Road to four residential units.

3. Ordinance – To approve an amendment to Chapter 405, Zoning Regulations, regarding townhouses. (Bill No. 6638)  A public hearing and to consider revising Title IV (Land Use), Chapter 405 (Zoning Regulations) and Chapter 410 (Overlay and Urban Design Zoning Districts) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clayton for proposed amendments related to townhouses.

REPORT FROM THE CITY MANAGER

1. Ordinance – To approve an amendment to Ordinance No. 6105, Public Art Advisory Committee. (Bill No. 6639)  To consider adding language to better clarify the ordinance that authorized the establishment of the Public Art Advisory Committee.

2. Resolution – To approve an update to the Public Art Master Plan. (Res. No. 17-26)  To consider approving an update to the Plan due to additions to the City’s collection of public art and changes made to the Clayton Art Commission and the establishment of the Clayton Century Foundation.

3. Ordinance – To approve an amendment to Ordinance No. 6208, Sustainability Committee, to allow the appointment of ex-officio members. (Bill. No. 6640)

4. Motion – To approve an appointment to the Sustainability Committee.  Appointment of George Hettich, liaison to the Clayton Century Foundation, as an ex-officio member.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

1. Resolution – To approve an opposition to the statewide election process. (Res. No. 17-23)  To consider opposing any statewide vote or legislative mandate on changes to the governmental structure of the City and/or County, including the municipalities.

2. Motion – To consider an appeal regarding the approval of a Conditional Use Permit for 7510 Maryland Avenue (Centene).  To consider an appeal of the Board of Aldermen’s decision to approve Centene Center III, LLC’s conditional use permit for the operation of a daycare and corporate education facility.
