Alderman Buse reported on the following: • Expressed thanks to City staff and employees for work done related to the recent storm/tornado. • Interested in a future discussion on the use of generators as it relates to the City’s noise ordinance • Thanks to Anna Krane on the stormwater report – impressive • Opportunity for the Sustainability Committee to discuss street lighting related to repairs/replacing lighting damaged by the storm
Alderman Feder reported on the following: • Kudos to the staff on the recent FEMA announcement • Attended the Missouri Growth Association Capitol Review event • Clayton Community Foundation Executive Committee – receiving several interests from donors who would like to help with the tornado recovery effort • Attended the Plan Commission meeting re: 515 S. Central Avenue property • Clayton Equity Commission will discuss the recent Glenridge Middle School incident at its next meeting
Alderman Hummell reported on the following: • Expressed appreciation on the storm recovery response and the continued communication throughout the community • CRSWC meeting o Presentation on a detailed marking plan focusing on driving additional memberships o Discussed (minor) fee adjustments • Met with Concordia Seminary, expecting a public announcement soon • Music and Wine Festival – decreased attendance due to the weather
Mayor McAndrew reported on the following: • Shaw Park Social event – great! Kudos to the staff. • 5 Iron Golf is open; ribbon cutting ceremony was held today • CRSWC – Kudos to Kathleen Gund for taking the lead in the scholarship initiative • Expressed thanks to the Fire Department staff who have volunteered services to tarp roofs in the City of St. Louis • She and City Manager Gipson delivered chainsaws to those municipalities who helped with the storm recovery • Met with Chancellor Martin, Joanna Schooler, and J.D. Burton of Washington University • Received three applications in response to the Municipal Judge RFQ
City Manager Gipson reported on the following: • Remembrance Park Grand Opening is June 18 • Juneteenth Holiday, City Hall closed on June 19 • BOA/Staff Retreat is June 20

FY2025 2ND QUARTER BUDGET AMENDMENT
City Manager Gipson reported that the City reviews and adjusts budgeted revenues and expenditures on a quarterly basis to respond to changes as the fiscal year progresses and to update the Board regarding budgetary issues. As part of the quarterly budget review, staff is presenting for consideration the second quarter amendment to the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) budget.
Alderman Buse introduced Bill No. 7072, approving the FY2025 2nd Quarter Budget Amendment to be read for the first time by title only. Alderman Feder seconded.
City Attorney O’Keefe reads Bill No. 7072, first reading, an Ordinance Amending the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget and Appropriating Funds Pursuant Thereto by title only.
The motion passed unanimously on a voice vote.

FY2025 2ND QUARTER FINANCIAL REPORT
City Manager Gipson provided a summary of the FY25 2nd Quarter Financial Report.
AN ORDINANCE FOR A CONTRACT WITH E. MEIER CONTRACTING, INC. FOR THE FY2025 DEMUN SPEED TABLE INSTALLATION PROJECT
City Manager Gipson reported that the Public Works Department is requesting approval of a construction contract for the FY2025 DeMun Speed Table Installation project with E. Meier Contracting, Inc. This project includes the installation of two speed tables to be located in the north- and south-bound lanes of DeMun Avenue between Alamo and San Bonita Avenues, including all pavement markings, signage, and other appurtenant items. Matt Malick, Director of Public Works, was in attendance to answer questions.
