September 10, 2024 — Meeting Transcript

This is a transcript of the Clayton Board of Aldermen meeting held September 10, 2024 (sourced from a YouTube recording). Excerpts show a presentation and discussion of a Livable Communities Master Plan—including speakers from Agency Planning and Landscape, Tool Design Group, and Recreation Results—and cover topics such as bicycle/pedestrian recommendations, park concept “test fits” (flexible uses, events, sports/recreation, nature, etc.), survey/engagement data availability, and eligibility/application steps for a park-related program. The excerpts also include discussion of municipal use tax receipts (reference to a rolling 12‑month July–June chart showing lower 2024 use tax), and the meeting’s closing with a motion to adjourn that was seconded and carried by voice vote.
