City Manager Gipson reported that Engage Clayton will include updates on the Shaw Park project and the Wydown restoration project.
Motion made by Councilmember Buse to adjourn the meeting. Councilmember Patel seconded. The motion passed unanimously on a voice vote. There being no further discussion, the City Council adjourned at 7:56 p.m.

residents, designers, and developers of the pending changes. There was also a brief discussion about the use of terms “shall” and “may” throughout the regulations. While the Council did not make a motion, there was a desire expressed to be consistent with the use of “shall” for the minimum greenspace in zoning districts. Staff completed another review of the terms and identified one revision to replace “may” with “shall” in Section 410.490 (Topton-Brighton UDD).
Councilmember Yorg announced that he will abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest.
Councilmember Buse introduced Bill No. 7123.1, approving text amendments to Chapter 405, Chapter 410, and Chapter 430 related to storm water control to be read for the second time by title only. Councilmember Patel seconded.
City Attorney O’Keefe reads Bill No. 7123.1, second reading, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 405, Chapter 410 and Chapter 430 to Adopt Revised Greenspace and Storm Water Management Regulations by title only.
The motion passed on a roll call vote: Councilmember Buse – Aye; Councilmember Patel – Aye; Councilmember Feder – Aye; Councilmember Hummell – Aye; Councilmember – Waldman – Aye; and Mayor McAndrew – Aye. The bill, having received majority approval, was adopted, and became Ordinance No. 6986 of the City of Clayton.
AN ORDINANCE FOR AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF CLAYTON FOR SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS
City Manager Gipson reported that the previous School Resource Officer (SRO) agreement between the City of Clayton and the School District of Clayton expired on August 31, 2025. This ordinance authorizes the City Manager to enter into a new agreement with the School District of Clayton.

City Manager Gipson reported that the previous School Resource Officer (SRO) agreement between the City of Clayton and the School District of Clayton expired on August 31, 2025. This ordinance authorizes the City Manager to enter into a new agreement with the School District of Clayton.
