October 2, 2023 — Meeting Transcript

This is a transcript of the Clayton Plan Commission / Architectural Review Board meeting held October 2, 2023. It records roll call, approval of minutes from September 18, 2023 (motion made and seconded; vote in favor), agenda order changes, and hearings on two new business items: a demolition and new single‑family home at 216 Lancaster Drive (zoned R2, Clayton Gardens Urban Design District) and a proposed residential addition at 515 South Central Avenue that includes an accessory dwelling unit requiring a conditional use permit. The excerpts summarize staff findings and recommended conditions for the 515 South Central CUP, describe site and stormwater/drainage details and neighborhood concerns (including noise and dry well placement), and include procedural remarks about meeting logistics and adjournment.

If we could add the timestamps just onto your minutes when each item starts, that would be great. As far as accessing the recording, the easiest way to do it is actually through the agenda and minutes page on the website. So if you go to claytonmoe.gov and you hover over the government tab, one of the dropdown that comes up, there's an agenda and minutes. You click on that. And then it has all the meetings you can filter by meeting type. So you could filter just for planned commission meetings. When Ryan sends the recordings to get added to our YouTube page, then there'll be kind of a link or you can just follow our YouTube page. So otherwise, if you go to YouTube and you search for City of Clayton, Missouri, it will come up. Our YouTube page will come up and then you can click on the videos and it has the Board of Aldermen and the Plan Commission. And then two things to follow up on that. When I go in looking for agendas and meeting minutes, shouldn't all that information be in the meeting minutes? We haven't had anything posted, I think, since July. Anything posted for what?
