UPDATE AND DISCUSSION ON THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IMPLEMENTATION
Anna Krane, Director of Planning and Ryan Helle, Planner, provided PowerPoint presentation and update on the Comprehensive Plan (copy available in the City Clerk’s office).
No action (vote) was taken.
DISCUSSION ON FINANCIALS AND PROJECTIONS – FIRE SALES TAX; MUNICIPAL GARAGE FINANCING
City Manager Gipson provided a PowerPoint presentation and update on the Municipal Garage project (copy available in the City Clerk’s office).
Matt Malick, Director of Public Works, was in attendance to answer questions.
The Board directed City Manager Gipson to pursue special obligation bond financing for the municipal garage project after the new year, aiming for a March issuance.
Staff to continue providing updates on the municipal garage project as the design process progresses.
City Manager Gipson provided a report on the fire sales tax (copy available in the City Clerk’s office).
The Board directed staff to place the fire safety sales tax proposal on the January 14, 2025 Board of Aldermen meeting agenda.
