Aitana Rosas Linhard, Student Representative to the Board of Education, updated the board on the District Advisory Council for the middle schools. They discussed with the 7th-8th graders the health curriculum, conversations with administrators on topics, focus groups, school spirit, mental health breaks, and a recap of the end of the 1st semester.

Brian Wuertz, partner with the audit firm of Kerber, Eck and Braeckel, LLP provided the final report of the district financial audit for 2020-2021.

That the Board of Education approve the fiscal year 2020-2021 Independent Auditor’s Report of the Financial Statements and Federal and State Programs as submitted. Dr. Robyn Wiens, Assistant Superintendent Student Services, and Dr. Milena Garganigo, Assistant Superintendent Teaching and Learning, provided an update on the Gifted Program around Goal 2 of our strategic plan. The board members took a 5-minute break.
